The GREPP centres its research work along the following lines:

- Design and introduction of a computer aided process planning (CAPP) system for planning and programming product manufacturing routes based on the technical characteristics (geometry, materials, etc.) of a given product.

- Study and introduction of production planning control (PPC) systems taking into account different management variables (work orders, stocks, machine loading, etc.)

- Integration of CAPP and PPC into a manufacturing firm taking into account both technical parameters (implements, tools, etc.) and management parameters (programmed stops, tool changeovers, etc.)

Research and development within firms of aspects related to integrated management systems, quality management (ISO9001 and total quality management), environmental management (ISO14001 and EMAS Regulation) and health and safety management.
