The Research Group in Engineering of Product, Process and Production (GREPP) was set up in 1998 by Faculty members of the University of Girona (Spain). The group is currently carrying out research on aspects related to the following fields:

Product:

- Mechanical design of products and machines

- Calculation of machine elements

- Product innovation

Process:

- Improvement, selection and optimisation of the production process

- CAPP (Computer Aided Process Planning), PPC (Production Planning Control)

- Simulation of production processes

Production:

- Improvement of production management systems

- Design of computer tools for the improvement of production planning systems

- Introduction and maintenance of integrated management systems (quality, environment and health & safety).
